Just did it again - told the truth that they just don't respond immediately to requests and gov's complaints: the requesting governor has to demonstrate that 1) he actually knows what they have and don't have, and 2) he has a current need for them. Dr. Birx says states are getting better in making requests.
Any govs who do not even know what they have, when they ask the feds for more, are behaving like the hoarders who have depleted our stores of various items. Maybe some states have never done proper inventory and will find that lots of stuff has “walked away” and other things are hopelessly out of date.
