So was this order legal?
"Lieut. Colonel Smith, 10th Regiment Foot,
Sir,
Having received intelligence, that a quantity of Ammunition, Provisions, Artillery, Tents and small Arms, have been collected at Concord, for the Avowed Purpose of raising and supporting a Rebellion against His Majesty, you will March with a Corps of Grenadiers and Light Infantry, put under your Command, with the utmost expedition and Secrecy to Concord, where you will seize and distroy all Artillery, Ammunition, Provisions, Tents, Small Arms, and all Military Stores whatever. But you will take care that the Soldiers do not plunder the Inhabitants, or hurt private property."
Two preachers in Georgia are dead now due to officiating a funeral the last week in February. Maybe first week in March. The hospital in that town and really the whole town are overwhelmed with the virus. Maybe Roy will attend church when the preacher is preaching. And the choir is singing.
I have no idea what that has to do with a deadly virus that is sweeping the country.
I don’t stay away from people because the Governor ordered it. I stay away because I have extensive experience with what happens when someone gets a deadly infection and the doctors don’t know how to fix it.
What town?
Good for him. That will keep him busy and away from the political scene.
Albany
What it has to do is there are some things worth dying for. Freedom is one of those things.
Wow. Seek help.
Baloney. We have never claimed fealty to vanity politics.
For what?
Yes, they say, but only the one we want.
Who is “we?”
And Blood Brother.
By blood only, or ideological compatibility?
You know that his counsel is unwanted? You know this how?
Legal or not, the State has the guns to back them up. If necessary, they will use deadly force to get compliance.
Seriously. Time to ride off into the sunset, Roy.
Well, there you go. The Redcoats had guns in 1775, too. Betcha you would have been right there with our side at Concord.
And to think there are still some freepers who still support this jackass
I don’t agree. Moore’s intervention brings needed attention to the issue.
