You do realize there’s been a similar checkpoint at California Interstate crossings for several decades now? Ostensibly it was to prevent ‘foreign’ fruit from entering, buuuuuut....
Yes, I know of the Agricultural stations at the Florida boarder (I see them every time I drive to Florida).
But they are just for commercial vehicles and anything in tow to prevent invasive species coming into the state. I understand that ... their industry could be devastated if some insect or fruit/vegie rot got in there.
Are we to expect to see these Check Point Carlie’s poping up at every state boarder?
