If Cuomo were smart, he would wait until 2024 to run. POlitics is a cycle here in the US and for a cycle, its a Republican, and then a Democrat, etc, rinse and repeat. This is where Trump saw his chance, versus 2012. It is rare that a President has one term. It does happen, Carter and Bush the Elder are examples. Trump will get re-elected, why does Cuomo want to be a sacrificial lamb. Wait until the field is more open. He will have his Wuhan creds and any mistakes he made will have been foregotten by 2024.
I am not defending Cuomo, it is just the political reality. Would he win the Presidency? Can’t say at this point...
Because Cuomo is even slower than Joe. His voice isn’t soothing. That is a media lie. He has a slow, boring, dull voice. He keeps repeating himself and talking slow like people are stupid.

He has a cushy job as Governor of New York. Why would he give that up for the mere possibility of an upset victory by Sleepy Joe and then for Sleepy Joe to die/resign? More likely is that he will wait for 2024 and thereby avoid challenging Trump, just like Trump didn’t run in 2012, instead running in 2016 and thereby avoided challenging Obama.
If any of you folks watched New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo go through his paces at his press conference on Sunday morning...you will have witnessed the babbling, ranting, empty suit that is really Andrew Cuomo. Face it....Cuomo did absolutely nothing to prepare the state of New York for this horror corona virus attack on New York State. The same goes for the two deadbeat Governors of New Jersey & Connecticut and, that winner of 100& losers, Democrat NYC Mayor Bill De Blasio.
It was POTUS, Trump that brought these laggard Democrat Party,, left-wing useless scum & vermin Governors & their legislatures up to speed. Trump supplied, the respirators, the ventilators, the face masks, the protective clothes, the massive effective naval hospital ship, The Javits Center massive hospital, etc. Face it Democrats these three “Blue states” were 100% asleep at the wheel, taking care of your illegal immigrants and freeing criminals without

Yates County welcomes its seasonal residents and visitors. In normal times, the county’s emergency services and medical facilities are capable of providing excellent care. However, these are not normal times. Because Yates County is rural and has a normal population of approximately 25,000 people, its emergency and medical community are limited in their ability to serve a large number of patients requiring higher levels of care as experienced with COVID-19 and other illnesses. Our hospital is small and incapable of handling a large influx of patients. Our stores are likely to have difficulty providing supplies to a large population.
There is no travel ban currently in New York State nor is there a New York State requirement for individuals to be quarantined for fourteen days who are coming back to New York State from another state or anyone coming into Yates County from another county in New York State. Yates County Public Health Director Deb Minor is alerting any visitor to follow the same precautions set forth for all community members...
Cuomo is STILL refusing to tell Downstaters to stay put or, if they refuse, to self-quarantine after arriving at their destination.
Biden can’t tap Andrew because Biden already promised the VP slot to a woman at the last debate. That’s what happens when you pigeonhole yourself into race and gender politics. If he doesn’t choose a woman, a bunch of Dem women will be pissed off. Never piss off a Liberal/Dem woman!
