But what I was getting at, is that this creates a layer the pres. and those calling the shots must go through to make things happen. So, now, instead of the pres. personally bearing down on the CDC, FDA; the CDC, FDA, are able to hide behind FEMA regardless of if FEMA's efficient or not. So we now have another layer impeding comms both ways.
I trust Dr. Fauci’s medical opinions far more than the anti-Fauci bozo’s opinions on Free Republic. Sometimes people on FR can sound so dumb.

Dr. Fauci was appointed Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases during the Reagan Administration in 1984. He has worked fir every president since then.
This idiot should keep his mouth shut and quit fomenting panic by his “disaster” predictions. It is irresponsible and unnecessary. And what good does it do? He will be proven wrong, because Americans (at least half of us /s) are not stupid, and we will try to follow common-sense guidelines. The other half? They are so neurotically impaired that they think we are all going to die, so they will be like Hugh Hefner living in a hotel in Las Vegas.
Bottom line: We will be good, but Fauci needs to stop making predictions that are going to make him look like a fool in a few weeks or months.
It’s barely getting started. Wishful thinking. You know how I know that? Anywhere that the cases are high hospitals are under siege. This got really started only a week ago. We’re heading for disaster. The only hope is that they start using the Hydroxychloroquine/Azithromycin /Zinc protocol. No vaccine is coming for a year. If they don’t let their hatred of Trump go and start using it it will be devastating. Already a lot of people that are dying needlessly. It’s immoral and probably borders on evil.

How's that extra layer working out?
Well, as I said in my first post on this thread, I’m firmly on the wide wall between the two camps on this. I don’t know and I don’t even care to hazard a guess. Personally I don’t know anyone affected and at my workplace of 1300, we have no one, or even any of their family members, who have it...and we check on everyone every work day. They are mostly at home but in contact with a repotting protocol daily.
But aside from that, I have no medical expertise whatsoever and no opinion that could be considered valid. So I’ll stay here between the camps...not believing this is Captain Trips and not believing that anything creating this kind of reaction could be a minor thing either.
Yep, but it doesn’t change the math. He was making the point IF 86% were asymptomatic then they could be unknown spreaders. I’m making the observation using HIS assumption that if his assumption is true then this whole thing is much less dire than we are being led to believe.

But I will say, I see no reason that I can think of as to why the treatment would be held back for any reason...I have heard anecdotally that it is being used, but I can’t tell from them how widely, because our media is so piss poor at covering anything that really matters, and even when they do they are just horrible at their jobs. The one thing I can say with some certainty is that our “news” media needs to be torn down, razed, the Earth salted and then built again entirely new.
So-you want to criticize but you don’t have the intestinal fortitude to quantify just how wrong someone is. How convenient that must be.
