On the radio Morning Glory shows lately Monsignor Charles Pope (also in his blog linked on FR) he has been saying similar wise things.
Without a return to work and worship will we have to hear someday that all 720 people standing in the charity food line tested negative for the virus, so the peak may have passed? But most stores, restaurants, tourism areas and hotels are out of business?
Although I'm 73 I've read a lot of history about the Great Depression and heard from my grandparents. This time it would be worse as almost no one lives on a farm and can supply their own food. And people lack the cohesive family units, religious groups and community closeness of that era. Not 100% gone but much less than that time in history. Now the Dems would battle anything for advantage and to deny Trump a victory.
