My personal Physical Therapist for my foot injury is in Knoxville. He is a physical therapy professor at South College in Knoxville and was one of my grand-daughters professors. He takes clients in his home. He notified everybody that until this is over he won’t be seeing anybody in person but will work with you by email and video. It’s understandable since he works in his home and would be exposing three young children and his wife to anybody that comes to his house.
So far this has not been bad for us. We don’t eat out and rarely go anywhere so that hasn’t impacted us. My husband’s outpatient cataract surgery has been postponed until further notice but he’s taking it like a champ. My daughter is working from home and my SIL is in customer service. He has an office and keeps the door shut since he can do what he does over the phone. People in more rural areas will do fine. It’s the big city crowd that is losing their minds.
We don’t want them coming down here though exposing the locals to the disease. That sounds cold but there is no reason to spread it to people that otherwise wouldn’t be exposed.
Agreed.
The MTs in La Crosse are stupid/selfish or both.
If the Chicagoans turn up again, we’ll photo their license and call the Sheriff. There can’t be that many Air B&Bs in our little town.
Those in the hot spots need to shut themselves in and deal.
I’m a natural hermit and we rarely eat out. DH is very social and it’s hard on him, I know.
