Texas is ordering air travelers from the tri-state area around New York City and from New Orleans to self-quarantine for 14 days after they arrive -- to reduce spread of the novel coronavirus.

There should be no problem with this. Isn’t Texas one of the states that Cuomo said not to visit because it wasn’t “woke” enough.
Ditto Florida and California. Selfish New Yorkers spreading the plague. They should close their airports and put up roadblocks.

They will be met at the airports by TX Rangers or law people and must sign a paper where they will be living/going. Instructed on the 14 day quarantine. They will be checked on at the address they provide during that time. Gov Abbott said fine/and/or jail time if they don’t do it.
Probably adding checks at borders for those driving in.

Unfortunately, it only involves air travel. It doesn’t involve, and there’s really no way of even checking those who drive in.
And Cape Cod. I'm seeing a lot of New York and New Jersey plates, about six to eight weeks earlier than usual.

I guess about as constitutional as anything else going on right now. Closing gun shops, locking people in their homes, etc.
Not a good time to have an out-of-state license plate.
