Democrats have no clue how business and the economy work. They may start to figure it out when their treasuries start to run out of money.

Employers withhold taxes from employee paychecks. They remit that money to the various governments, usually quarterly. But if people are out of work there is no tax to withhold or pay the gubmint. Hopefully, they will begin to figure things out when those Q1 checks are really light.

So true. Democrats think the US Treasury is a bottomless pile of gold with Scrooge McDuck sitting on top, and all they have to do to get their walking around money is occasionally distract him and snatch it away. 2 Trillion dollars will appear out of nowhere and have no bearing on their livelyhood. When they need more, they just set up another ruse to distract Scrooge.
