"RICHMONDGovernor Ralph Northam today issued a statewide order to protect the health and safety of Virginians and reduce the spread of the novel coronavirus, or COVID-19. Executive Order Fifty-Three orders the closure of certain non-essential businesses, bans all gatherings of more than 10 people, and closes all K-12 schools for the remainder of the academic year. Governor Northam is also urging all Virginians to avoid non-essential travel outside the home, if and when possible."

Not sure how it worked. Perhaps a beacon good to 500 meters. Another alternative would be a small FM transmitter. I’m pretty sure they’re good up to a quarter mile.

One update before buying anything - the pastor put himself on Facebook live. Folks in the cars got it on their phones and bluetooth delivered it to the car speakers. He also had loudspeakers outside for those up front who may not have had a smartphone. Rain? No idea. Pretty nifty.

hey we did a drive in this past sunday where people stayed in their cars, worked great, talked to the people by phone through the radio will continue to do so! thanks!

yes, and under northrams new orders i believe we can still do it, as its not really in person, its in car! so thats what we are going to go with!
