You're correct he is with NIH. Still worthless in my opinion and needs to resign. I know about NIH too because my dad worked there. A lot of BS was ongoing there as well, for political reasons.

Deputy Director Anne Schuchat was acting director from when President Trump assumed office until March 26, 2018. That is when Dr. Robert R. Redfield took over.

Anne Schuchat was initially appointed by Barack Obama, and before her were, briefly Brenda Fitzgerald, and Dr. Tom Frieden was Obama's first appointment as Director of the CDC.

But the CDC is still run by a bunch of liberals, and heads should roll. They have shown that the agency is all but worthless when they are really needed.
