With his background Hillary-adoration, I’m thinking he’s a mole. A lot of people seem to think he’s wonderful and credible, and he’s worming his way into the forefront with his air of authority and medical expertise.
I think he is, at once, trying to position himself as the ultimate expert on the Corona virus’, while baiting Trump with these outside appearances and criticisms. If DJT fires this guy’s ass, all Hell would break loose It’s a setup...

I’ve watched these press conferences and then read reports from the press that came from a different planet. I call BS on the story by DM.
For instance. What if the question asked of Fauci was: “Why don’t you jump in front of the president and shove him down?” And he said, “Stupid question. I could never and would never do something like that.” A dishonest reporter (y’know, if there was such a thing) could find an opening to give the the quote: “I can’t jump in front of him and shove him down.”
As to the smirk: What if he was laughing at the joke about the Deep State Department in exactly the same way most of the people here would do?
Look, even if the guy is a Hillary supporter from the past, (two of my daughters from Calif. and Wash. were) does that define him as an object of hatred for all his life? I’ve heard him be supportive of the president and I’ve heard him disagree respectfully (do we want Obama-bot yes-men on that task force?) I’ve also heard him chide reporters for finding disagreement where there was none.
Some of the logic in this thread sounds a lot like you can find on Politico, Vox, and the rest, with just the names changed.
If I see and hear Fauci say all those things on video to back up the article, I will believe it. Otherwise, I will believe the Daily Mail is trying either to discredit Trump with lies or trying to drive a wedge between members of the task force. I will not become party to either attempt.
Sidebar: Even the president sometimes falls into the traps set by these sewer rats. Example: Do you take responsibility for ___________________ (fill in the name of any disaster, real or imagined)? President Trump should never answer this wife-beater question. It’s an absolute lose-lose.

Few in the Media fail to grasp exactly what DJT is trying to do: balance two balls in the air at one time. On the one hand he has the economy to think about and on the other he has to ensure this virus gets beaten or at least quelled. Neither is paramount because to beat the virus we need the economy to work or at least mope along, not shut down. On the other hand if we don’t beat it and it turns even more virulent, it is not going to matter. The second path seems very remote so DJT as the optimist he is wants to make sure the economy does not collapse and to do so he wants to keep engaged the American spirit.
The Dems are nothing but dung beetles, always have been. The NIH and CDC are mostly statisticians whom want to see numbers before they act. Consequently, they are against anything he might want to do. The Ahab dems don’t care if the country goes down as long as they get the great Orange man. The CDC crowd does not with to back anything without a very clear study of long standing which indicates something works. Trump does not and his comment is telling: what do we have to lose by trying these drugs to reduce the problem if they work. Sounds good to me and any intelligent American.
In case this is not clear, I hate dems and would not care if they disappeared from the planet.
The DM has been denigrating President Trump (and his family) since he was a candidate for POTUS. Nothing new here.
Trump probably thinks Fauci is like a little chiwowa, constantly barking instead sitting and being usefull.
How about this, if Fauci doesn't publicly reject this story as FakeNews, we can then assume he's a very tiny azzhole.
