He is a Medical Professional. He speaks like EVERY Dr. I called on as a pharmaceutical rep.
Nothing personal. Really. Someone would have to be out of their minds or simple to consider traveling anywhere and especially a third world cesspool like Ethiopia right now.
I think it foolish to go anywhere that is not absolutely essential.
I think that President Trump is referring more and more frequently to having a check on the situation after the 15 days that he/CDC has requested for separation. Hopefully he realizes that the things that are being proposed to try to save our economy from sinking are exactly the things that radical Dems campaign on ... universal basic income especially.

At times Fauci has said some alarmist statements, but there were a couple of times in this presser were he was actually good (and a couple not so good).
What makes me mad is that these press conferences should be a way to obtain important up to date info but some of these reporters are wasting valuable time with their gotcha and fear mongering questions. That is why the President lost his temper with that prick Peter reporter. A good example is all the questions about the test kits.

There is a HUGE logical fallacy that I wish Trump or Fauci or Birx would state about EVERYONE being tested. It goes like this:
Birx has previously stated the obvious: “IF you don’t need to be tested, and you go and get a test TODAY, and you say ‘I’m negative’, it DOESN’T MEAN that tomorrow you can become infected by someone who’s positive”. Ergo,
The ONLY way it COULD work is if EVERY SINGLE PERSON in the US was TESTED AT THE EXACT SAME TIME, STAYED QUARANTINED UNTIL THEY GOT RESULTS, AND THEN the POSITIVE carriers STAYED AWAY until 100% better. In Software Development (and I’m sure in other parts of Life) we call that TAKING A SNAPSHOT of what IS AT THIS VERY MOMENT.
The IMPRACTICALITY and IMPROBABILITY of this occurring is so obvious. But the reporters are playing a dishonest Gotcha game, it really disgusts me.
Remember - For #2 to work (SNAPSHOT), #1 MUST be remembered (I am tested and negative today but I can BECOME positive TOMORROW)

Agreed. But either Fauci or Brix (sp) needed to cite the "negative" rate on tests. If I recall >90% are negative. Those were unnecessary tests.
Don't panic. If you have the 4 key symptoms, call your doc, let him evaluate if you need tested, and proceed accordingly. The sky is not falling.

The State Dept put out a get the hell back to the country or stay where you are to American citizens currently out of the country.
Need to end the press conferences. Have updates without the press and let them ask their stupid questions in writing. No new or good information comes from their questions. They only add to the atmosphere of confusion and panic.
I hate the press. Hate them.
