Wether it was insider trading or advice of financial advisors that made them dump their stocks is the least of our worries at this time. This is a typical narrative being pushed so that the DUmocrats retain Congress. They’re always pushing the “inequality” class-warfare type of stories. Until Hitlery’s “cattle futures” are investigated, it’s a non-issue.

This is probably another one of those “shooting fish in a barrel “ situations. Politicians get elected to the Senate or Congress, and in a relatively short amount of time, their net worth rises well beyond their income. Had they suddenly become financial geniuses? With all the inside information floating around them, they just have to pick a few here and there. The Democrats picked a few prime GOP targets as a convenient way to gain some advantage. It is an election year, after all. And the Democrats have a lot more to lose than just the election.
That’s why you have to have term limits.
