I never used those words. But nothing in your post suggested that you felt the need to prepare for hard times.
I have some friends who are the God will provide, which I do believe He does, and they do NOTHING to prepare in advance for any sort of unexpected situation. They would certainly expect God to drop food out of the sky.
I never was able to figure out, or find out from them, how they expected God would provide when they never used the resources He gave them to make wise use of it.
Proverbs 21:20
The wise store up choice food and olive oil, but fools gulp theirs down.

They make others give up what they had stored in preparation-
There’s an old great joke about the “God will provide” crowd. Involves a guy in a flood who keeps refusing aid cause God will provide. He drowns, gets to the Pearly Gates, he’s very confused as to how this all happened. God says “I sent 2 boats and a helicopter, what were you expecting?”
For the record, between what we have in the pantry, canned goods in the basement, and frozen vegetables out of the garden, I would guess we could survive for six months or so. . . but that was not done out of fear or lack of faith, just taking advantage of God’s bounty and goodness.
