We’re going to have to create feeding stations of some kind going forward, of different types. We’re doing home deliveries for seniors. We’re closing down senior center programming, but we’re doing — using senior centers as kitchens in effect, dispensaries to get meals out to seniors at their home. There’s a lot of pieces we’re going to have to alter. And look, the Great Depression and the New Deal are very instructive here. I don’t — I’m not saying bread lines, but let’s be clear, we’re getting close to a reality where the government has to ensure that the food supply, that it is not only available, but that it’s equitably distributed. We’re going to have to get into a heavy intervention in people’s economic lives.

When it comes to socialism and what socialist political leaders advocate and proclaim, ask yourself a simple question:
Has any socialist or communist leader, who has gained some political success, ever gotten poorer? Ever suffered a decline in his or her standard of living? Ever?
What does this tell you?
Since I don’t watch Morning Joe, does anyone know how this declaration of government take over was viewed by the show’s panel of experts?
In other words - don’t hoard food because we need it to give to illegals for free.
In a couple of days if not a week NYC will be hell.

Forget the coronavirus for a moment. With the millions of socialist/communist indoctrinated students, I see violence in the streets if Trump is reelected. I don't sanction nor recommend violence. But then I wonder how many of these dem/soc/commies know of how many highly trained snipers there are in this country and how many individual cells exist? Not suggesting anything, just making a point.

Nah. They're okay with people hoarding food, for now. It gives them evidence that there is an emergency that only government is able to deal with.
Once they've declared their emergency, THEN they'll make armed searches of everyone's houses to gather up all the food into central locations. They'll ration out the food to people on a daily basis so everyone is then totally dependent on the government.
I admit I’m getting more and more cynical about this whole thing.
Oh God, No, not more government control. Neighbor-to-neighbor, churches, civic organizations, but not government.
