The Wuhan lab knew before 18 November that the virus was out. On 18 November (and perhaps for some time before) the Wuhan Institute of Virology was advertising for an entry-level scientist who wanted to work with bat viruses.
My best guess is that more senior scientists were looking for a fall guy, as an entry-level scientist, while helpful given time, is only going to make a late project later. See Brooks’ Law.
I tend to believe the Chicoms here because their numbers are similar to SoKo, in terms of infection and spread and Italy in terms of infection spread and fatalities.
My question since i saw this stuff about Wuhan and what a disaster it is still remains was the virus really released by accident three different times as I read or was it done on purpose.
On purpose they kill their own people. Accidentally, through massive incompetence, they don’t.
No,but it will put pressure on every country in the world to stop putting all their eggs in the Chinese basket.
High tariffs on ALL medical materials coming out of China is a start - it's the best and fastest way to bring strategic industries home.
Our companies are smart enough to spread their supply chains out in broader patterns of countries. American industry is flexible. This might be the silver lining to the Wuhan virus tragedy - we're all gonna 'get real'...
I’ve seen a lot of auto parts that at one time were made in the US, then went to Mexico, then China, are how from India and Vietnam.
Eggs in many baskets is safer, saner, and protects profits....
As the world moves industry OUT of China the price will be paid... No one’s going to put all their egg in one cheap basket again.
