During a press conference on Friday, Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) criticized the federal government’s response to the coronavirus and the “inconsistent” messaging from the federal government. She called on President Trump “to step back and appoint one of our public health officials to be the spokesman” and suggested Dr. Anthony Fauci serve as the spokesperson and give daily briefings on the virus.
Collins said, “We are making progress at the federal level, but I am not satisfied with the response. I think that the messaging at the federal level has been inconsistent. And when you’re dealing with a novel virus like this, it’s very important that health professionals be out front

Susan Collins is a not so secret weapon for the dems and lib media. She needs to be removed from power.
As is so often the case, Susan Collins is wrong.
It may be that Fauci is a better communicator, with better information, by every conceivable measure and in every way. But he lacks one very important thing. He is not the President of the United States.
It is not only about communication and information. It is about leadership. For leadership, you need the leader. The only one who can do that for the United States is the President, and God bless President Trump for stepping up to the task.
After all the Collins Republicrat is SUCH an expert on all things.

What a stupid statement. Fauci is at the side of the President. And Fauci is aided by others. This is not a one man show. This is “the best man for the job” task....and it means “Many”...not one.

Trump’s calling the captains of industries to the WH——who are critical to its many facets-——was brilliant.
The virus task force Trump put together is composed of the most brilliant, activist health/medical people.......including Dr Fauci.

Well thank god we have a decree from Susan “braindead” Collins. We can all sleep better tonight knowing she’s on the job.
I hope Collins loses this election. So tired of her dim-witted stupidity. I’d rather put resources in electing an actual asset like James in MI or retaining a seat in CO or AZ.
