The thing’s only been around 3 months and I can barely drive through all the corpses here.
it’s like a Seinfeld episode. You see the whole point of a pandemic is that lots of people die. What do you call it when almost no one under 70 dies? A Geridemic?
This week, a 67 year-old man died here in Georgia at Kennestone Hospital. He was admitted on Saturday and passed on Wednesday, IIRC. Last week, apparently he was okay but became increasingly sick during the week. I don’t know any other details about contact or travel, but this got my attention.
I’d call it “The Beginning”.
The US is about two-three weeks out from getting heavily struck with the THING. Hold onto your hats and only hug the kids. (Unless you are over 50, then maybe not)
Not kidding about any of this.
No, but 13 years from now, we’re gonna have a whole new batch of “Quaranteens” running around
You could call it a Jerrydemic...
Pandemic is a term with specific meaning. It only refers to the extent of the spread of the virus not it’s virulence.
I’m sooooo sorry that we don’t want old folks to die . . .
