While neither she nor any of the show’s staff have tested positive for the coronavirus, Behar is heeding the entreaties of her daughter to stay at home for the time being.
Behar is expected to be absent from the show all next week and will evaluate her situation after that.
“I’m in a higher risk group because of my age, but I’m perfectly healthy,” Behar says on the episode, according to Variety. “I don’t look my age, but I’m actually up there. The number makes me dizzy.”

The problem I see....this ‘period’ will be around for probably six to eight months (till the vaccine comes out). Maybe in her mind, she thinks she can disappear for four weeks, then come back in. I don’t see this working. She’s finished with the show.

I have never been exposed to even one moment of the View and couldn’t even tell you what time it airs, or where, or why.
From what I’ve gathered, it’s a chance for misinformed women to show that, given an opportunity, they can equal the efforts of misinformed men (e.g. CNN) and make themselves into ass-hats in front of some considerable number of onlookers.
This has become a trend in recent years. Nobody knows why, and no antidote has yet been found.
