Yes, real tangible economic harm is going to come to a lot of people that will soon be out of work. I just hope that some remember how the media fueled it and take some appropriate action to make sure there are repercussions on members of the media.
The stress and anxiety that the media is causing, especially in those 65+, are doing no good at all. The politicians are just as bad with all their fear mongering and/or “doing something” decisions.
National emergency declaration is going to moot these claims.
My Mom tried today to go to Ralphs..TRIED is the key board, no parking available, so she left..so she went to Trader Joes, 200 people AT LEAST in the store, she wore a mask and gloves, when she left the store and got into the car she used her hand to put the mask down so of course OMG OMG maybe now she is gonna get it. I told her if she is so concerned why the hell did she go in the store..its absolute INSANITY the store shelves are EMPTY, no chicken, hardly any bread, nothing this is straight up insanity
Personally I am angry, very angry, and utterly disgusted.
In addition to harming Trump the MSM loves the power and control they hold over the American people. They control and manipulate the message, and they have to love seeing the sheer panic they’ve created around the country.

i was just in a local supermarket in Shop Rite....its in Bedford, NY, a very liberal town...the anger towards the media was palpable from the people waiting on line- and the lines stretch back and back and back...when i said, “its the media that should be cancelled” the vast majority nodded their heads in agreement...even the store manager called BS on the media hysteria and says this is purposely being done to harm President Trump...
The “Press” is literally hollering FIRE in a crowded theater. They must be held accountable.

My gov has upended us not only by cancelling all compulsory schooling, but the domino effects wherein my college now wants to shut down, husband’s plant to shut down, and then I need to reschedule all these medical (NON-corona!) procedures and visits I carefully work out to avoid work disruption, to no avail. And now our college is talking about only “remote” on-line classes/tutoring (that’s me) the rest of the semester?!?!
Never mind when stores will decide - or be forced - to shut down!
All for something that really likely isn’t much more dangerous than the average virus. IOW, bad ROI.
Even doctors I’ve seen this week and a nurse friend are not real impressed with the impact of the virus ITSELF (no, not talking about the panic).
