I wasn’t around for the Cuban missile crisis, but I think the panic and anxiety levels are right up there with it.

I was in the 9th grade. There was no hoarding of T.Paper in our area—nor was there any reports of it nation wide. News reports were less sensational then.

Besides, after a nuclear strike, you can go out of the bunker for extra supplies—for brief periods. Also not only did USA make their own T.P. we also had a stack of Sears catalogs in the closet as backup.

All the prepper articles I ever read said that T.P. is one of the first items to disappear—also listed as a top barter item for SHTF. We always have several months worth in our pantry. Generally, we restock once a month. Which we did a couple of weeks early —good thing—LOL

Folded newspapers make good enough TP. Keep a plastic bag by the toilet to dispose of them. OBVIOUSLY you cannot flush them down ye ol crappper.

Fold the newspaper, don’t scrunch it up.....which makes it too rough and will chafe your arse.
