I remember well. My friend had the needle break off in his arm. I rember him holding it with blood seeping thtough the bandage.

Yikes...that had to be horrible! All those years ago, all they had was reusable syringes and needles. You had to trust that the doctor’s office sterilized everything well, but then, we didn’t worry about stuff like that back then. We just assumed it was being done. Same thing with the dentist’s office back then...big-ass stainless steel syringes and needles.
