Multiple SEEMA VERMA x millions. That's the extent of our national problems.

"I dont know how to wash my hands"

"Schools can't close because no one is there to look after the kids during the day"

"Panic buying ready-meals because no one knows how to cook"

Grandparents locked in home but a shiny new BMW on the drive.

This is what a failed society looks like.

LOL! I’ll have to try this. My stockpiling/packrat tendencies mean that I have 3 bulk cartons of Emergen-C and my husband just stockpiled vodka a month or so before this virus stuff hit. We’re set!!!!

Incredibly smart. We have to fill the tank while the prices are low.

Every gas container we have is now full. We like having a lot on hand “just in case”. (I’m not a prepper per se, but we ARE prepared!)

We got one of those bidet washlet seats and it is freaking fantastic. Our toilet paper use went WAY down, and it is way more hygenic.

We are beyond lucky here in california. We have several citrus trees and they are producing more oranges and grapefruits right now than we can use, so we are squeezing a lot and freezing the juice.

We also grow cherry tomatoes like crazy. We don’t even have to plant new ones from the nursery because they always reseed themselves. We’re blessed.

My grandmother had a huge victory garden during WWII and my mother carried on the garden tradition, so I grew up with fresh picked veggies in the summer and home made raspberry jam every day. Blessed to have had my family and their wonderful, self-sufficient traditions.

“There used to be a thriving pharmaceuticals industry in Puerto Rico.”

At one time there was a massive tax break to set up production in P.R.

Billy Bob ended it. Smart move./s

China probably paid him off.

I saw Bill Spence and Fennig’s All-Stars in, hmm, late 1978? In his intro to the Gaspe Reel, he recounted his experience the first time audiences reacted with smiles to its familiarity after Crockett’s Victory Garden (PBS) had started to use the theme without permission. Looks like the old guy has retired.
