I only recognize the name because we used their drug-testing kits in New York State prisons. That was over 16 years ago anyway. I retired in 2003.
Trump said he was going to fill the oil reserves [the ones every Democrat president depletes to pay off their pals]... and he’s doing it while oil prices are lowest in years. I was hoping for gas below 2 bucks but at the same time we need to keep oil workers here employed so it cannot go too low or US sourced oil will be to expensive to extract.
I think Pence would be an excellent President. Unfortunately, he’d also be a poor presidential CANDIDATE.
Yes - that did it. I was working during the speech and was watching Bloomberg (no audio) during the speech. Early in the speech, the market was dropping and I was wondering, "What is he saying," ... "then I saw oil shoot up and the market reverse, didn't realize Trump made that remark.
The size of the economy really doesn’t have much to do with how quickly it recovers from this legitimate health crisis. You’re not accusing Trump fro taking all sorts of actions here for nothing, are you?

Good - and I don’t care. I worked pandemic response and disaster preparedness for 3 decades at a very high level. I am a scientist and I understand math. I also understand how a leader is supposed to act and what they are supposed to do.

Yes, I do think at this point the braggadocio over his admin’s prowess here is misplaced. Stuff we could deal with otherwise is particularly a problem here. I think most Americans will give him a pass on the testing and shutdown issues of the last 6 weeks if he is strong from here on out. But making it all about him and all the self-praise has got to pain a lot of American ears.
