I am not downplaying this, but I am not going to play into thr hysteria either.

If you are 60 and over with certain enderlying health conditions and you get this.. and get a bad case or it, it is very serious... but for the rest of the population the threat is relatively low.

Big news stories always bring out the fruits and nuts. Most recently we saw this with Kobe Bryant’s death.

This Wu Flu story is especially engaging for the rubbernecking Wu Flu groupies because they can stock up on toilet paper and feel like they are part of the story themselves. Obviously, they can’t do that with a plane crash or celebrity death.

It’s also important to note that just because one is over 70 or over 80 it is by no means a death sentence.

Yes, over 80 was around 14%. Not ideal, but still very good chances that any one person in that age category can still have good outcomes.
