Yes, over 80 was around 14%. Not ideal, but still very good chances that any one person in that age category can still have good outcomes.

No it is not a death sentence but it is far more risky, but that is true of almost all infectious diseases.

But to downplay a 10% plus mortality rate is disingenuous as well and just because you survive doesn’t mean you won’t be debilitated for the rest of your life with permanent lung damage and other things.

Yes it’s not a death sentence, but it’s pretty lethal in terms of mortality rate if you get it and are more elderly
