To be fair, they *finally* got a lot of the accuracy problems at least partially remedied in the 2000s. They redesigned the Ranch Rifle in 03, ported that to all the other models in 05 with additional improvements as the 580 series and somewhere between 07-08 put a heavier tapered profile barrel on it. It's still not as accurate as your average AR-pattern, but it's a lot better than the old garbage Bill Ruger was willing to sell the rest of us out on the AWB over, just to protect 'his baby'. The post-Bill management has been busily fixing the problems with Bill Ruger designs and Bill Ruger's management.

I love my Mini. The accuracy on mine isn’t that bad. I don’t often use it beyond 50 yards and just use the iron sights, but it puts ‘em where I want ‘em for the most part.
