Joe Biden needs to win Michigan. It’s a swing state the President won in 2016, so winning the primary will do more than give Biden more delegates. It will solidify his reputation as being better than Bernie Sanders at defeating President Trump. But at a campaign stop at a factory today, Biden got a little agitated over a question about the 2nd Amendment.
So far, we’ve found two versions of the video. The one above is longer and seems to have better audio, while the one below from Benny Johnson gives a clearer picture of Biden’s angered facial features as he berates the guy.
Joe Biden is touring an auto plant in Michigan, a *must win* for Democrats. A blue collar Union autoworker asks Joe about protecting gun rights. Biden:

Biden initially noted that he wasn’t going to take guns away, noting that “you’re full of sh*t.” Then when the worker mentioned a “viral video” Biden lampooned the notion, comparing it to other viral videos that he seemed to insinuate were false. He then proceeded to describe his love for guns, including shotguns that he and his sons used for hunting.
From there, he says he’s only going to take AR-14s away. There are, of course, no such thing as AR-14s, but it’s close enough for the discussion. He later appropriately calls them “AR-15s.” But the sticking point in the heated debate seemed to be Biden’s description of them as “machine guns” while the worker rightly referred to them as semi-automatic rifles. I have been hopeful these past many years the death of the Dem Party was imminent. But they are accelerating toward communism, the younger elements of the party are driving them that way, a huge younger fraction of the electorate is enamored with totalitarianism, it is ascendant, and it is jamming them in that direction.
If the Dem Party implodes and goes away, it seems like it will be replaced by CPUSA, maybe with a rebranded, catchier name like the the “Social Justice Party” or some such.
I’m not hopeful the nation is going to regain its sanity and most certainly in the few years I have left.

A whole lot of union guys have been into hunting and guns for many decades, and their sons, too.
Biden stepped in a big steaming pile of bear chit.
Only if the word gets out, typically the media will spike stories like this.
They look as if they don’t have much to say.
Mini-14s have used several different barrel twists over it’s history. Different twists require different bullet weights for best accuracy. Lots of range time using different ammunition will let you find the best combination for your Mini-14. With mine, 62 grain work much better than 55 grain. If I really want the best accuracy, I’ll pay the extra and go to 68 grain Hornady.
Lots of practice and a little ammo tweaking will let a Mini-14 shoot as well as as an off-the-shelf AR15.

Or you could just buy the AR-pattern rifle for the same price and not have spend all the time and effort.
