An adviser to former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's campaign threatened a "scorched earth" response against President Trump's children if the GOP refuses to back off from Hunter Biden.
During a weekend interview on MSNBC, Timothy O'Brien suggested that Democrats would engage in a media campaign against the Trump children "unlike anything they've experienced thus far" if Republicans continue to investigate and attack the son of Democratic presidential front-runner Joe Biden.

If they had the capacity to substantively go after Trump’s children, they would have already. They’ve shown time and time again that they don’t have ethics, and are uninhibited by considerations of decency.
The Dems will just make stuff up. Like the pee dossier. Dems know POTUS is riding solo without substantive support on his flanks from his own party. Biden Jr. should have been publicly deposed the moment the Dems moved to impeach. That didn’t happen and now Dems know with certainty that the GOP gives top cover to the Bidens.
Alternatively, he could well have been a muchkin in the Wizard of Oz.
The Trumps are the kind of folks who like a challenge, especially when they have the American people to back them up.

Maybe so, but they aren’t dealing with the stupid elected narcissistic idiots that they usually hang with. They are now dealing with effective people from the public sector, who have actual qualifications and have accomplished things in their lives other than getting a degree and running for office. They can have the media, and even the RNC in their pocket, and they still can’t win. When it’s been shown that the emperor has no clothes, it’s really difficult to thereafter convince people that the emperor is adorned in regalia. Politics and politicians will never recover their personally coveted stature in our lifetimes.
