Mildly ill - no need for doctor
moderaltely ill - maybe doctor, maybe prescription, maybe extended home stay
severely ill - likely complicating illnesses (chronic) maybe mutliple doctor visits, misery, maybe hospitaliztion or ER to rehydrate and stabilize followed by release to recover at home.
There’s a lot of room between mild and hospital stay.
Other nations are testing & shutting things down. We aren’t.

Italy mortality will drop once their virus gets under control and the very vulnerable die off.
Iran is a useless comparison. The people lick statues and the government shot 1500 unarmed demonstrators and buried them in a mass grave. The more people die there, the happier they are.
