One huge difference in flu and coronavirus is that there is a vaccine for flu, but
—none— for c-virus.
Did the person’s flu start out mild, then got worse rapidly, so the person died?
Were there quarantines and travel bans in those flu years?
and yet, even with a vaccine, thousands are dying annually
Even with the vaccine the numbers who die are still there
It is not a miracle shot, as all vaccines do is attempt to infect you with a weaker version of in this case virus in hopes that your body will naturally build antibodies to fight it off. If your body is weakened due to other issues then this is not going to stop it and and best it can help as it is busy fighting other things and this just tags along.
It is NOT a guarantee
I can tell you that I went to a hospital here in NJ last year with a fever. They decided I had the flu and kept me in isolation for two days. (Yes, I had had a flu shot.)

Really? What is the difference between the China virus and pneumonia? How many people have contracted pneumonia or the cold over the past several months and were never tested but actually had the virus and recovered nicely? There's no answer because nobody is asking the question and demanding an answer....
It's too easy to create a crisis and milk it for all it's worth...........
