Donna Brazile told RNC chairwoman Ronna McDaniel to ‘go to hell’ on Tuesday, but Cockburn can’t help wondering if there isn’t a special place in hell for Brazile.
The ex-acting Democratic National Committee chairwoman became irate during a Fox News interview when she was shown a clip of McDaniel opining on her party’s primary, which has been a nightmare, to say the least.
The Democratic primary kicked off with a complete organizational failure during the Iowa caucuses and looks like it may very well conclude with a brokered convention, suggested McDaniel, which would be the best way for the party to stop Bernie Sanders.
et, as McDaniel pointed out, if the superdelegates do end up picking the winning candidate, the race will appear ‘rigged’ against poor Bernie.
Brazile, embodying the mad establishmentarian that is terrified of losing power if Bernie wins, pretended to be aghast at the notion that her comrades may be conspiring to stop the socialist. She initially responded by accusing McDaniel of peddling ‘Russian talking points’ — an all too familiar and hackneyed ‘talking point’ for Democrats.
Then things got personal — and Cockburn’s ears pricked up.

Whe I see a glimpse of her on the Five on a Monday I quickly erase the Five fro my weekly DVR recordings. I get around to replacing it the next week when I get around to it

I’m from the city next to her hometown in Louisiana, and every time she mentions something about gumbo or some other Louisiana custom or food, I cringe. Don’t need her being an ambassador of my home state.
That’s interesting! I love your area and have produced a documentary for the Jean LeFitte Natl Battlefield, years ago. I would never connect her to the culture and people of your home. Yech. Ha!
