Can any Freeper defend WHY we re-elected this idiot to a position of power? I would have preferred a democrat and then try to unseat them this year than giving this traitor the keys to the kingdom.

Your question can only be directed to those Freepers in Utah, not the whole population of Freepers. I for one wouold not have voted for him had I lived in Utah. Then again, I would never live in Utah due to some laws that would prevent me from living there such as rain water collection and other envirowhacko stuff.

Sounds like he is desperate to cover for his friend who might get caught up in the “political” investigation.

HOW STUPID DOES THIS SLIME THINK WE ARE?

it is hard to conclude anything else about his ultimate motivation.

he is extremely wealthy. he could do anything and everything he wanted in the private sector the rest of his life. the senate seat is more like a pet title for a while, not an actual achievement. but he only got it for one reason -

he lost 2012, trump won 2016. trump then declined to make him SoS.

he is getting even.

"Most Mormons I’ve known were respectable and pretty intelligent people. Romney shames them. Badly."

Agreed.

Every Mormon I've ever known personally has been good people, almost to a fault.

I've never met a Mormon crook.

But Mormon politicians seem to be really shady.

YES!

This was the plan to save Biden, and Lindsey Graham, having never seen Guiliani’s evidence slimed and sidetracked it.

Buying time to get Biden Elected.

Romney is wealthy by average American working-class standards. By billionaire standards, he is a poor man.
Trump pointed this out on several occasions during the primaries. Pointing out that Romney who was afraid to stand up for his wealth, and instead appeared embarrassed about it, and allowed the dems to shame him for it, is worth less than the jewelry in the Tiffany’s jewelry store in Trump Tower.
Romney is not a fighter. Romney is a backstabber. And, his backstabbing tendencies are directed exclusively toward President Trump and not at all towards the dems that hammered him mercilessly and defeated his play for the presidency.

Exactly. Politicians believe they should not be subject to the laws they pass for the little people.

Senators get 6-year terms. We're unfortunately stuck with him.

Wonder who told Marse Milt that the conservative nigras would FLOCK to vote for him and his Mitt-licking ilk if he put up a "principled stand" against actual law and order?   thinking face

I supported Mitt in 2012, But I was so ashamed of him after this impeachment mess that I dug out my old Romney 2012 T-shirt and threw it away. My opinion on this is that he doesn’t want the Burisma looked into for a reason: One of his former advisers still works there on the board and made money along with Hunter.

Well, Harry Reid would do the same.
