NEW YORK (AP) — In just over 100 days, Mike Bloomberg spent over $500 million of his own fortune in a quixotic bid for the presidency that collapsed in stunning fashion on Super Tuesday, when he won just one U.S. territory, American Samoa.
By Wednesday morning, he quit the race and endorsed former Vice President Joe Biden, saying his continued presence in the rapidly shrinking field would make it harder for the party to defeat President Donald Trump in November, his ultimate priority. The businessman, worth an estimated $61 billion, pledged to keep spending to defeat Trump.

So much for getting the money out of politics like the lying rat party are always spewing when their donors dry up.
Maybe for decades, donor-money mattered (at least from VIP or agenda foundations). But if you look at social media, that’s the message-point now, and TV/Radio advertisements are of minimal value.
I’d add as well...Trump’s campaign funds aren’t exactly from VIP/agenda foundations...he’s getting $100 to $1000 contributions from the ‘little-guy’. He could put out a call today that the campaign needs $40-million in the next two weeks, and a million ‘little-guys’ would come to support him.

Closer to $1 Billion after all is said and done, He already promised to pay his huge staff untill November no matter what happens, and he spent over $500 million just on advertisements alone.

500 million could end homelessness for 20,000 people by getting them into apartments for a long time. He's worth 61 billion. He could end homelessness for that many people in 100 cities. He could, but he wouldn't. He'd rather spend it on promoting himself.
I wonder how many meals for the old and poor you can buy for 1/2 Billion. How many pairs of eyeglasses or medicine for people who have little money and even less hope?
