Biden claims 9 Super Tuesday victories, including Texas

A resurgent Joe Biden scored victories from Texas to Massachusetts on Super Tuesday, revitalizing a presidential bid that was teetering on the edge of disaster just days earlier. But his rival, Bernie Sanders, seized the biggest prize with a win in California that ensured he — and his embrace of democratic socialism — would drive the Democrats’ nomination fight for the foreseeable future.

The former vice president showed strength in the Northeast with a victory in Massachusetts. He won delegate-rich Texas in the Southwest, Minnesota in the upper Midwest and finished on top across the South in Virginia, Alabama, North Carolina, Tennessee and Arkansas — in addition to Oklahoma.

Sanders opened the night as the undisputed Democratic front-runner and was in a position to claim an insurmountable delegate lead. And while he scored the night’s biggest delegate-prize in California, he scored just three other decisive victories, winning his home state of Vermont, along with Utah and Colorado.

The other two high-profile candidates still in the shrinking Democratic field, New York billionaire Mike Bloomberg and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, were teetering on the edge of viability. Warren finished in an embarrassing third place in her home state, and Bloomberg planned to reassess his candidacy on Wednesday after spending more than a half billion dollars to score a single victory — in American Samoa.

With votes still being counted across the country, The Associated Press has allocated 438 to Biden, 369 delegates to Sanders, 45 to Warren, 39 to Bloomberg and one for Rep. Tulsi Gabbard. The numbers are expected to shift dramatically throughout the night as new states, none bigger than California, report their numbers and as some candidates hover around the 15% vote threshold they must hit to earn delegates.

Trump will not let anyone dominate him and I remember Palin having no trouble destroying Biden and Biden was not senile then. Trump will have no problem pointing out Biden corruption.

The DNC establishment selected Biden. He’s the nominee. I don’t think he was their first choice, but they settled on him after Harris and Warren imploded.

Burnie leads by 4 in Ny total and leads Bloomberg in all of upstate and in a bunch burbs. Bloomberg leads Bernie in just NYC but not by much. Biden is only 11 per cent in all of NY. If Bloomberg drops out, Biden will pick up some of Bloombergs voters but the rest go to Bernie. Biden isn’t helped. Warren may act as a spoiler to Bernie and Klobuchar isn’t much of a factor whether she had stayed in but she is out now(so her few supporters might go Biden). Buttieg voters in NY are more super gay liberal types but may go Bernie(since Buttboy dropped out) in upstate in the college towns like Syracuse, Rochester, and Ithaca while going Biden in the financial districts of NY City. NY is still Bernie’s to lose. Warren came in third in Mass; socialist women votes that might have split between Bernie and/or Biden went to Warren but no one else. With Klobuchar and Buttigieg having dropped out, their votes went to Biden in Massachusetts.

So that tells us that Bernie at most can achieve no more than 30 to 40 percent of the vote totals nationally and not get much more, but Biden seems to be the “hold their nose” choice of the voters whose favored candidates have now dropped out. Bernie may win the entire Pacific states and New Mexico but what else, I’m not sure. Michigan and Wisconsin have large Biden supporting black populations but Hispanics like Bernie as he actually targets ads to them; these states also have large numbers of Bernie lover college students. So Biden will have to be perfectly gaffe free as he tries, during the convention, to win over skeptical Bernie supporter marxist college students who may see him as mentally deficient as their grandmother is who is stuck in a home. Oh this is going to be a fun convention to watch as we count the number of Biden verbal bumble stumbles.....
I think they’ll have to make Bernie VP to make peace with the youngsters who will be the future of the party.

Heaven for bid that they should win, but if they do, I’ll bet the Sociopathic masters of the Dems have plans already to ease Biden out via the 25th amendment. Bernie “chooses” under pressure a new VP(vetted by the Masters), and then perhaps his heart starts to fail under the strain, or perhaps his mental faculties start to shred with all the stress. Poor fellow, he too is forced to leave by a “grieving cabinet” via the 25th and a much more radical person takes the presidency who no one would ever really vote for...say hello to Madame president Tulsi Gabbard!

Bernie’s rowdies are going to want a piece of the action should Bernie come over all in second place. They won’t tolerate another 2016 again.

He is a place holder....Let’s say he gets in because many will vote for Biden out of hatred for Trump. They also know he can be eased out via the 25 amendment and a much more radical person put in charge. Yes these Dem children of darkness are wiser than the children of light at times. We have to understand their wiles. They are snakes and we need to have the wisdom of snakes to defeat them.

I don’t think Bernie will just go away this time. His own following will go berserk. A third party looms I think.
