I am not certain I agree with the daily total on this article, but it is reported as this.
.
Johns Hopkins site:
Confirmed: 5,328
Deaths: 28
Recovered: 41
Still sick: 5,259
0.6%(?)
What if China and North Korea virus casualties include inconvenient people who end up with a bullet in them? Keeps down the spread by crowd contact. Closed societies have too many secrets.
At this moment 57.853% of all reported COVID-19 cases have been resolved, through death or recovery.
Current active cases stand at 39,248. That is the lowest number of documented active cases since 09:30 am on 02/12/2020.
At this moment, active cases have dropped by 518 so far today.
The Mortality Rage has dipped below 6.00% for the first time, and now rests at 5.94%.
I guess I have a rage problem.
That’s the second time I’ve referred to “rate” as “rage”.
Yes I am just not sure of the daily total.
Yesterday, in the afternoon, the total was over 5,000.
Now the total is 5,328.
All well and good, bit where in the world did this article get 516 as a daily total, for a total 5328, starting with a total of more than 5,000?
I think someone is not calculating the daily total for Korea time, maybe.
Or else, the total from the previous day, was incorrect.
Maybe someone knows.
Or not. Just maybe. :)
Korea’s totals are very recent.
I myself, believe they need to factor in future results, which haven’t happened yet (whatever they will be) to get the true ratio.
So the current totals are not right, yet, very likely.
Oh, here is possibly a correct article:
—
South Korea reported 142 more novel coronavirus cases Wednesday, a significantly lower increase than the day before, taking its total to 5,328 — the largest in the world outside China. Seoul had reported 851 new cases on Tuesday, its biggest daily case increase to date, with South Korean President Moon Jae-in declaring “war” against the deadly virus.

Okay! How reliable are:
S Koreas drive thru tests?
https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/02/asia/coronavirus-drive-through-south-korea-hnk-intl/i
It appears that after the initial shock of testing, the numbers go up dramatically and then plateau. After the plateau, the public starts to maintain its own safety and the numbers drop off rapidly.
We will see a huge number increase of cases in the US over the next few weeks, panic buying, political finger pointing, and then a decrease in cases.
People will die.
Hopefully none of anyones loved ones in this forum.
