How can they possibly call these races with less than 2% of the vote reporting?

The old senile crook can win all the dem primaries in the world but Comey is not around to give him a pass the way he did Clinton. Bindens ass will be indicted in the next few months. His 50 year crime spree will come to an end.
Let’s hope so.
Meanwhile, the demoncrat party will work to thwart Bernie.
To: Quilla
Exit polls. With a 33% spread you usually can call it.

If Biden does well in traditional Repub States, that is troubling, especially if they are turning Purple. I would rather have Sanders pulling well in those States. Plenty of centrist/"never Trumpers" play a perverted role unfortunately.
Never ever take politics/elections for granted, plenty do and become complacent losers for a cycle or two or three...

Between the exits and the pre election polls, this one was a no brainer.

I think Trump wins VA against Bernie or Mini Mike. Not so sure against Biden.

In a generally conservative state, the Democrats tend to be somewhat conservative as well.
To: Tuxedo
No. Not with NOVA. Twenty years ago a GOP candidate would have won VA in a walk.
Those days are gone.

Thank you, that makes sense. I was just amazed that they had called Virginia with less than 1% of the vote in.

Unfortunately there are a formulas where Republicans can sweep the Southeast, including Florida/Texas/Central States from OK to ND, and still loose.

Trump wont win VA regardless of whom the Dems nominate. It is a solid blue state.

Yes, with Sanders it would be an anomaly, with Biden it could be a popular trend, especially if the economy slows down.

Yep with the voter fraud in the blue states is pretty tough row for the GOP. Our side needs to work like hell to overcome the corruption. We have to win everything, they only have to win a few things

I would dismiss all of those unless they are open primaries, and even then you have to remember that there is usually a total disconnect between the primaries and the general election.
Joe Biden's victory in South Carolina, for example, means absolutely nothing when it comes to the general election in November.

I cant think of one conservative or moderate position that Biden holds. Anybody?
