The New York Times on Ash Wednesday displayed more sudden respect for religion, at least of the left-wing variety, in an opinion piece by veteran journalist, presidential historian, and former editor-in-chief of Newsweek Jon Meacham, “Jesus May Be the Best Hope Against an Amoral President.” The text box: “Religious history can inspire activists in the Trump resistance.”

I guess even the Times realized the title of their TDS article was too much over the top so it was changed to "Why Religion Is the Best Hope Against Trump." Still chock full of the same TDS in the text.

p.s. Does anybody here think that Meacham would have even written a book now about Jesus if Trump were NOT president?

Just a reminder that Meacham when he was the editor of Newsweek was the "genius" who proclaimed that success could be obtained by CUTTING the number of subscribers by raising the cost of a subscription. Soon after Meacham left his job there, Newsweek sold for... a buck! I did you not. It actually became so worthless that it sold for ONE DOLLAR!!!

And the left looks to Meacham as some sort of wise prophet. A prophet who could not even figure out the concept of "profit."
