Coronavirus is an “info-demic,” a panic caused by the spread of partial and often misleading information about a health risk, sometimes deliberately.
The virus is real, and a small number of people have been infected. But it is going to pass.
It is an unpleasant respiratory illness, but it is not an organ-destroying horror like Ebola. Precautions are being taken, a vaccine will emerge, and life will continue as usual.
Here are five specific reasons to chill out.
1. Coronavirus is a familiar illness, and not as bad as others. It is from the SARS family — and less deadly.

President Donald Trump bought precious time by stopping travel to China last month — a step critics said was overly drastic. Democrats are screaming about funding and staff cuts that never actually happened.

OTOH, markets are now mainly run with programs, taking the human element completely out of it. Certain "triggers" kick in, which IF the humans were still doing all of the bidding, would NOT occur. The same is also true for upswings.
Theres a dead man in China that would like to debate the no organ damage...
I suspect that Pollak is talking about cases which were caught in this country. The rest of the cases were sick when they came from somewhere else. [THIS IS A GUESS!]
On the other hand, John Hopkins was reporting 60 U.S. cases, but it you summed up the cases from their map, it comes to less than 40. So I do not understand where the 60 number came from.

New Corona is a Black Swan event in that we are beginning to realize how stupidly dependent we are on our bitter enemy, China. We need to bring drug manufacturing back to this hemisphere. How about setting plants up in Mexico and the other Central and South American countries. It would be like USMCA 2.0. We have millions of smart, educated illegals here who could go back home and make a decent living.

China was in a tough corner. They couldn’t stop the Hong Kong protests, even by withdrawing the extradition law. They couldn’t go Tienanmen square again. In 1989 they could flip the finger to the world. Today, they would pay a heavy price.
The protests even were showing potential to hop on over into other Chinese cities.
A flu breaks out, they go full retard and authoritarian.
The protests are dead and gone. The rest of China is distracted and on lockdown.
Side benefit, the people who think in terms of 50 years shut the factories for a few months. Dow tanks and the only possible anti-Trump weapon does it’s damage.

One day people will reflect on the COVID-19 panic and how political correctness and the intential obfuscation of facts in the self censored media and public pronouncements of “experts” contributed to the fear. The fact is that in the epicenter of Wusan there were many Caucasians and Africans living and working. They did not become ill or die at the same rate as native Chinese. This has not been reported. The region in Italy where the outbreak occurred is heavily populated with Chinese immigrants and guest workers. The race of those afflicted and who died is never reported. Iran has a large Asian component to its population. The Silk Road transversed it with numerous Chinese living and staying in Iran.as well as the Mongols once conquering Iran. Its modern population has a big Asian genetic component. From Dec15 through Jan 23 thousands of people travelled from Wusan and entered multiple points in the United States. Hence the virus is already here. Yet there have been no China or Korea style outbreaks here.
It is obvious that thus far this particular pathogen seems to infect and causes serious illness much more often in Asiatics than Caucasians and Africans. Yet this does not fit the globalist political narrative. No reporter or politician is willing to note this fact lest they be labeled racist. Sadly even scientists don’t state facts or politically incorrect observations.

Crux of the issue is this...We need to bring our pharmaceutical and medical device industry home...
It certainly is “pure hype” and an anti-Trump “card” by our Media and other assorted libturds.
Maybe I’ll be wrong, but I bet this is gone in 6 weeks or so. And all we will be left with is dems bitching that Trump managed it all wrong. The week before DOW was at 29,500. The demonrats were terrified of DOW 30,000.
So far nobody on my block has this coronavirus.
