Proud of your son - thanks for loaning him to us. Fighter pilot’s kid here and a 30 year JAG.

Thanks. He sometimes reminds me that he is an O-1, and I was an E-7. 😁😀 Another year, and he will make 1st Lieutenant. Since I was an air traffic controller, I pretty much understand everything he tells me, about his flying. At first, he wanted to be a USAF lawyer, but being as the Air Force is so short of pilots, they told him, it’s pilot training, or it’s nothing. He accepted pilot training. Once he started flying, there was no more desire to be a lawyer. He has a new love ❤️ in his life. FLYING. All he wants to do now, is fly fly fly.
They use their instructor pilot’s call sign in the aircraft, but they all have their own made up humorous call signs, not official. For instance, if a guy’s name is Kringle, his unofficial, funny call sign, would be Kris. They never lose their sense of humor. 👍
