It’ll take a sight more than unicorn dust to balance those books. This is a job for fairy bubbles.

I’m not laughing at the thought of a Bernie presidency. In 2016, the same arguments were being made on the GOP side against Trump. Yet he got elected. Here it is four years later and it’s the Dems turn at an unwanted candidate.

There are enough Trump haters and “free for me” people who will vote for Bernie. I really got scared when one of my sons told me he was going to vote for the first time - for Bernie. He’s 35. I haven’t come up with a suitable response, yet. Neither ridicule nor rationale will work.

“... $16 trillion for the Green New Deal; $4 trillion for free college, pre-K and day care; $2.5 trillion for affordable housing...”

So I have to ask. Even in your wildest pharmaceutical nightmare… what the hell does a society DO with people who come out of the ‘FREE EVERYTHING’ system and enter the ‘work force’.

None of them will even have a concept OF work, at that point!!!

In all honesty that’s what we’re doing now.

The important thing is to buy the voter with the promise. Paying for the promise is not important, neither is delivering on the promise - just get the voter’s mind thinking “Candidate X is doing something for ME!” and you’ve done your work.
