Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders has taken a double-digit lead over his Democratic rivals in Wisconsin, according to a new poll.

He will take Maine, New Hampshire and possibly Nevada as well.
Yes, he will.
If he got over 45% and lost, he’s almost certain to win them in 2020.
He will take the battle to states he got around 40% -45% and probably win a few of them as well..
Consider all states in which Trump + Libertarian + Independent Conservative exceeded Hillarious + Green as our targets:
The three crucial states of 2016 (MI, PA and WI)
also: NH, MN, ME (at large but not 1CD), NM, NV, CO
plus maybe: OR, VA
MI, PA and WI are NOT in play in 16.... anyone telling you they are does not know anything about them... and does not know how and why Trump won in 16.
He will not lose a single state he took in 16.
Any state he got over 45% and lost, expect him to win and he will be battling in states he got between 40 and 45 and I expect him to take a few of them as well.
High water mark for the Dems, regardless of who their nominee is, is about 10 states and DC.
not even Michigan, where Trump won by a scant margin? Michigan wasn’t in play; and, anybody who thought it was in play “doesn’t not how and why Trump won in 16”?
Was New Hampshire in play? Or Minnesota? Could you show me where, prior to the election, somebody called Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin for Trump, and said the other close states were either toss-up or for Hillary?
I thought I was pretty spot on but I didn’t get every state right.
Trump’s advisors told us he (Trump) was never ahead in their polls in these states; but, there were enough undecideds whose values were conservatives but whose demographics were Democrat, for Trump to possibly win.
Trump himself told Chris Wallace that when the exit polls were leaked, he thought he had lost. But, when the actual vote in Florida was being tabulated, he thought, hey, this is getting interesting.
I’ll let you go first on the distinction between “how” Trump won, and “why” he won.
Go search for my posts here prior to the election. They are plentiful. LS as well saw the same things I did, his posts are here as well.
It was obvious to anyone who understood and lived her Trump was going to the White House straight through this region from the time he started his campaign. The anti illegal immigrant and end to free trade blared his strategy to anyone paying attention... and the pundentry was not paying attention.
I announced that Trump would take this entire region sans iL and MN..
And come Election Day I was proven to be correct. No Im no genius, but I could easily see trumps strategy and how well it was going to play here.
And because of how and why Trump won, there is zero chance that any state he took is going to be lost in 2020. The delivery on his campaign promises has ensured hell gain support across the board here.. these states are not in play I dont care what they idiot pundits tell you... I fully expect Trump to take MN as well this fall.
Short of a complete economic meltdown or some other black swan event there is no democrat chance at the White House
