The Border Patrols taken a lot of heat for efforts to expand the border wall-and theres probably no spot hotter than the project in the Organ Pipe National Monument.
Wednesday the Patrol invited media to the site to try to show it is doing sensitive, environmentally responsible work as it expands the border wall...
Jim O'Laughlin is a contractor who oversees all the border wall projects financed with Defense Department money.
He says, This.is looked at as actually less damaging than some of the other ways and even some of the hydraulic hammers you can use will not break through some of this so this is the fastest most efficient way to get it done.
The government says it's found no tribal graves on site.
Paul Enrique of CBP says the Tohono Oodham did not raise cultural objections when a smaller wall went up at Organ Pipe 10 years ago
"All of these same things that we are talking today were presented to them at that point and we've not had those concerns at that time."

The truth is that the blasting is just to dig out a five foot wide trench in the bedrock, for the foundation of the border fence, along a line that was previously cleared for the vehicle barriers.
The Tohono O'odham never buried their own members there (tens of miles from their Reservation, on US Federal land), as far as anyone can say, but there are reports from over a hundred years ago that some (enemy) Apache raiders were buried somewhere in the vicinity of the Mountain, after a battle. The only human remains that have been found in the area, were from modern migrants who died in the desert, while crossing illegally.
I sincerely appreciate your updates.

The illegals and drug runners had it so messed up a few years ago they had to close it to visitors for safety reasons.
Thanks for keeping the border wall progress front and center.
President Trump getting the border wall built is reminiscent of him rebuilding the Wollman skating rink in NYC on time and under budget when everyone scoffed at the idea.
Notice to Indians: You lost the war but were permitted to live
Looks like one of them sinks to cross dressing as a muslim woman, in an even more desperate attempt for attention/validation:
No more kickbacks from the drug cartel for turning a blind eye to smuggling, drug running, and child trafficking.
I got to chat with Foreman Mike of We Build the Wall at CPAC yesterday. He said that the three and a half mile run by the river near Donna Texas is done, and they are already ramping up for their next construction project.
Also, he mentioned that they have made great progress in getting landowners in Texas to sign agreements about building border barrier on their property in the future.
Libtard Logic:
“The mounds of trash that the illegal aliens leave behind them as they invade our country have no effect on the environment whatsoever, and are in no way an insult to the indigenous people who might have lived there in the past.”
Excellent news and thanks for sharing it here.
Illegal immigration and a Federal judges are the two issues that got me to support President Trump not only in the general election but the primaries.
No other candidate was talking about either one and the progress hes made on both is astonishing. For those reasons alone he deserves a second term.

“Illegal immigration and a Federal judges... For those reasons alone he deserves a second term.”
...And the economy, dealing with China, Iran, NAFTA, Oil and Gas production, deregulation, tax cuts, defunding Planned Parenthood, lowering drug prices, getting rid of Obamacare’s individual mandate, ISIS, Baghdadi, Sueimani, Comey, McCabe, etc.
All while donating his whole salary, and taking a huge personal financial loss to do it.
God Bless our President!
Good report, BeauBo. Thank you.
We do it all the time, barely a rumble if done well.
Winner!
