What do we do next flu season, crawl in under the covers and die from fear?
The flu kills far more people.
What the Sam Hell is going on?
Why are we being herded like this?
Follow the billions of taxpayer dollars being thrown at this.
Gotta keep the crisis alive.
Why are we being herded like this?
Its the only thing the democraps have left to destroy Trump with. “Supposedly” according to Bagpipe Barr, March is the month the Durham indictments are supposed to drop. But then again he never said what year.
Simple, to get rid of Donald Trump.
And they wonder WTF would happen when a real disaster happens?
This is proof that some will run around like chickens with their heads chopped off.
I am more interested in how this shit started in China.
BTW, the President talked about the numbers actually going down in China at his presser this afternoon.
25% of people who get the flu do not require hospital medical attention or quarantine for 14 plus days after exposure or its over.
Why are we being herded like this?

Media hype. The media is incessantly yammering about something.
Two months ago it was WW3.
One month ago it was impeachment.
Now it’s the Wuhan flu.
Avoiding exposure is the best way to not get sick and that means not going out in public unnecessarily.
If you are well stocked, you can avoid as much exposure as possible.
Besides, many of us stock up for weather conditions, like for the winter for many of us. I, for one, do not want to be dragging in any more groceries than I have to in through the snow and slop and freezing cold temperatures.
I buy all my bulky stuff and non-perishables to last me though the winter. There’s no knowing what it’s going to be like. I remember some awesome winters that were very mild and others where we were getting hammered with major snowstorms on a weekly basis. Far easier to head to the basement for supplies than drive 15-20 miles to the nearest store for those few little things I need.
And nobody on FR is advocating panic. But it’s also the height of foolishness to NOT be ready for some kind of disruption in supply lines We are too spoiled in this country and take too much for granted, as if we are owed it and it’s always going to be there.

Well to be fair- we are counting a whole year’s worth of flues against just a month or so of coronovirus which hasn’t even really hit it’s stride yet
When they say 80,000 died from flu last year in the US- that is counted for the whole year and all the flues that hit that year- (I don’t know if they include clods in with that stat or not- probably not)
If this coronivirus erupts- then the numbers will go up a lot- especially because our populations are more elderly now, and the sick and disabled will be affected badly too- right now the virus is being contained thankfully- and maybe it will continue to be and fizzle out without much higher numbers- but it could erupt too- we just don’t know yet-
Folks that were nervous about this remember the effects that the spanish flu had- it was devastating- over 50 million dead I guess from that flu epidemic- can’t really blame folks for being a bit worried that another big one might be shaping up- Folks do have to be vigilant against something like that flu ever happening again- it’s understandable they are a bit worried-
Exactly.....thus far not a single death in the US for this virus and few actual cases.... thank God we have the medical teams we do.
As for the media pushing this.....well they always pounce on anything that will keep people engaged, like storms predicted etc. it’s one thing to keep people informed but this is over the top.
