President Trump would KO Democrat front-runner Bernie Sanders if the 2020 presidential election were held today.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds Trump earning 50% support among Likely U.S. Voters to Sanders’ 43%. Seven percent (7%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
The incumbent president wins 84% of the Republican vote and leads 49% to 39% among voters not affiliated with either major party. Sanders captures 75% of Democrats, but nearly one-in-four Democratic voters (22%) opt for Trump instead.
Senior Democrats including many of Sanders’ opponents for the presidential nomination argue that his socialist views are too radical for a general election. With Sanders’ views getting a wider airing in recent days due to his front-runner status, these new findings suggest that’s true. Just two weeks ago, 51% of all voters considered it likely that any of the announced Democratic candidates could defeat Trump in the upcoming election.

To even think 43% of the population would even think about voting for this rabid communist POS is totally mind-blowing.
I could see those staunch communist states of NY, CA & MA condoning this old communist bassturd, but the rest of the country??? Crazy.

The better the voters get to know him, the less they will like him.

No, the only ones who love him are the get all my student loans, car loans, home loans paid off for free and give me free medical care, a free job with all the bennies, retirement, health, dental, good salary, 2 months vacation, 1 month sick time, 32 hour work week (3 day weekends), just to start. They are the 18-35 year old group. The final group that have bought in to the get it all free, the rich need to pay for all of it since they stole it from you, group. Only after they find out it is all a lie and it is too late to do anything about it, then the stupid a-holes will see there is nothing free.
Give them time.. the more Bernie’s ideology comes to light, the less people will like him.

Really surprised Rasmussen doesn’t have most of the remaining DEM candidates ahead of Trump head-to-head. Not because it would be true, but because the MSM slants all manufactured news toward the left.
Comfort in politics seems to be a rarity.

The country is so polarised...I’m not surprised that Sanders is at about 43%.
The best I can see Trump doing is 33 states. My guess is that he keeps every state he won from 2016 and adds NH, Nevada, Minnesota.

Amen a long miserable 8 months. If they let Bernie get ready for a nauseating re-defining of him. The Democrat Socialist crap is already starting. I still think they will find a way to take him out. The Castro thing was too much I think. In fact that has revealed a wedge point. So if it is someone other the Bernie one of the first things they will do is trash Castro to pander to the Fla area.
