How elitist of her. She probably warned her brother Rod Rodentstein too. What about everyone else?
Nancy? Rod Rosenstein’s sis.
So exactly how does one prepare? Stock up on Lysol, vitamins?
Trump needs a coronavirus ‘czar’ to coordinate responses to public and corrupt media so we can don’t have the CDC and its liberals going rogue with mixed messages, scare tactics.
Nancy Messonnier....Rod Rosenstien’s sister........
How old are these poor kids?
I remember the Y2K hysteria. It’s here all over again.
Dear Drama Queens
Grow up.
Total death Coronvirus world wide: 2711
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/
Total deaths annually in just the US from Flu:
While the impact of flu varies, it places a substantial burden on the health of people in the United States each year. CDC estimates that influenza has resulted in between 9 million 45 million illnesses, between 140,000 810,000 hospitalizations and between 12,000 61,000 deaths annually since 2010.
We went out of our way to not have any hint of precautions for HIV infections but we think we should go all out for this?
We’ve stocked up on canned soup, tissues, advil and toilet paper. If we both get sick, we won’t have to worry about having to go out for supplies. My husband also had a flu shot, which may or may not be helpful.
"Disruption to everyday life might be severe"Bring Out Your DeadMaybe.
I suppose death could be counted as a disruption...
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
If a quarantine saves just one child's life, it's worth it.
I believe we will beat it. First of all, flu season is almost over and though you can catch the flu out of season it is much less likely. Second, we already have an experimental vaccine and there are already others in the pipeline.
In 1954 one of the kids in my elementary school was diagnosed with polio.
They closed the school for 3 weeks (it might have been 4).
When we returned, that kid was a cripple and a kid in another class had died.
Closing a school will be fought tooth and nail by the administrators. They get cash for every kid who is there and they don’t get cash for kids who are absent.
Did she warn her children when over 18,000 Americans died of the flu so far this year? Or did she just want her name in the paper?
K-12 schools are petri dishes anyway...
#1. When you knowingly have faulty testing kits
#2.When there is no known vaccine in the pipeline
#3.When you know that some carriers of the infectious disease are 'asymptomatic'
#4.When you learn that some people without symptoms shed viral particulate two days BEFORE developing the disease
#5.When you allow international travel without confirmation of locations traveled
#6.When you have passengers from a ship known to have coronavirus returned to the US without executive (President's) knowledge
#7.When you have WHO (World Health Organization) run by a politician, rather than a physician
#8.When you have WHO refusing to declare a world-wide pandemic, despite confirmed reports internationally
#9.When you realize that you don't own your own production of safety equipment or medications to combat the illness
Then you might have a crisis in the making !
It doesn’t matter what you think of this coronavirus situation, fake or doomsday. What matters now is that these stories are stacking up and people are going to start hoarding food and other supplies. Don’t be late to the party or the shelves will be emptier than those in a Caracas 7-11.
