Geneva: The US is following an egocentric foreign policy that is leading to global arms control agreements being devalued, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Tuesday.

It is vital "to stop the degradation of international arms control", Lavrov told the Conference on Disarmament in Geneva, urging Washington to resume talks on halting nuclear proliferation and banning weapons in space.

As if the Russians wouldn’t be right there selling weapons to the very same buyers.

In fact, the complaint seems to be that the US is out-hustling the Russians and taking market share from them.

Oh, you mean that Russia does not like Trump’s policies? Hmmm, I wonder if they’d rather the policies of an admitted Communist who’s never had a real job? Of course they would.

But, we know the MSM will continue to push the lie that Russia is trying to help Trump.

Yes, our press is that sleezy, because they know that Russia would have MUCh rathered Hillary. Heck, she carries so much baggage that they’d have N reasons to blackmail her (where N is a very large number).

You seem like a first person on tread who understood the subject.
It is not about market shares but about the strategic weapons balance.
Like it or not US was first to screw it with the proposed missile system in Europe in earlier 2000s.
Russian systems are a response.

Is the Russian doomsday weapon it recently announced a legitimate ‘response’?

Any response with the idea to overcome the threat is legitimate. I guess you believe in self-defence. What US response do you believe would be justified if Russia or China placed medium range missiles in Mexico and Canada?
I believe you’d say any.
