Oh I agree, they should be fair game. But I think men understand woman are emotional creatures and prefer not dealing with those as most women cannot control their emotions very well in environments that are competitive with men. Then it becomes an emotional thing rather than facts or expressions of ones position.
Of course Warren is in a constant emotional state, her presence alone reflects that.
