Former Deputy Attorney General Donald Ayer called his former colleague, Attorney General William Barr, "un-American" because he thinks the president is above the law.
"The reason I say he's un-American...is that the central tenet of our legal system and our justice system is that no person is above the law," Ayer told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on Monday. "Bill Barr's vision is that there is one man—one person—who needs to be above the law and that is the president."
Having known Barr for 40 years, Ayer told Blitzer that there was never a reason to "test" Barr's "very strong view" that the president "ought to have a great deal of power" during President George H.W. Bush's administration because the president "had no interest in being an autocrat." Now, with Trump in office, who Ayer said "apparently wants to be an autocrat," Barr's "carried out" his vision.

Don Ayer is a graduate of Stanford, and was listed as an independent and not a republican. He was replaced by William Barr in May 1990. He is now a liberal hitman in the media.

Every day we are finding out more and more about the deep state a-holes that were hired by the Bushes and that permeated their administrations. The more I learn about the Bushes, the less I respect them.

Othere than blowing in a bag and giving interveiws, he's' as effective as Lindsy Graham and Trey Gowdy in accomplishing not a damn thing!

Communist-leaning deep state and former Deputy Attorney General Donald Ayer apparently believes that you are guilty until you prove yourself innocent. Does he want to use Soviet style tactics, or French Revolution tactics? All you have to do is accuse someone of a crime.
Saying that no one is above the law is popular these days. But in our country you are innocent until proven guilty, Mr. Ayer.
